Joe Moon is a serial entrepreneur and business builder. He co-founded Velocity Technology Partners (managed IT services since 2005), Athens Capital Partners (commercial real estate), and multiple other ventures. He served as Chairman of Extra Special People (ESP) and is a current United Way board member. Joe is a University of Georgia graduate with deep roots in the Athens and Atlanta communities.
Why Joe became a business broker: After building and scaling multiple businesses, Joe understands the emotional and financial complexity of selling a business. He brings an operator's perspective to every transaction, helping owners navigate the process while maximizing value.
Mike Denham, BSEd, MBA
Mike Denham brings three decades of corporate financial analysis, strategic planning, and business development across multiple industries. He has personally started, grown, acquired, and sold businesses. Mike holds degrees from the University of Georgia (BSEd) and Piedmont University (MBA), and is a licensed Georgia real estate broker. He is a member of the IBBA (International Business Brokers Association) and GABB (Georgia Association of Business Brokers) with past board service.
Mike's expertise: Mike specializes in financial modeling, deal structuring, due diligence, and transaction management. He serves as the analytical backbone of complex deals and ensures every client gets maximum value with proper risk management.
David Moon, BS
David Moon is a former Senior Director of Franchise Operations at Zaxby's, where he started as a restaurant inspector in 2002 and worked his way up through the organization. He led company-wide training programs, spearheaded operational turnarounds for underperforming locations, and developed systems that scaled across hundreds of franchise units. David is a University of Georgia graduate.
David's specialty: David focuses on multi-unit operations, franchise resales, food service, and businesses that depend on operational excellence. He understands how to evaluate and improve systems that drive consistent profitability.
Richard Harrison, MS
Richard Harrison is a Georgia Institute of Technology graduate with an MS in Economics and Finance. He spent over six years leading revenue management, corporate development, and financial strategy at Gain, a healthcare technology company. Richard currently runs a digital marketing agency and serves as an advisor to multiple technology companies. He is an expert in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and strategic planning.
Richard's focus: Richard specializes in healthcare businesses, SaaS companies, technology services, and businesses with complex financial structures. He brings institutional-level financial analysis to middle-market transactions.
William Corley
William Corley has been an entrepreneur since his teenage years, building and scaling e-commerce and digital marketing businesses from the ground up. He previously served as Director of Marketing and Communications at Compass Golf. William brings a modern, digital-first approach to business positioning, marketing strategy, and buyer acquisition, and is an expert in online business models and digital transformation.
William's strength: William excels with e-commerce businesses, digital marketing agencies, online services, and businesses looking to modernize their operations. He understands how to value and market technology-enabled businesses.
Jay Lee, Ph.D.
Jay Lee brings a unique combination of entrepreneurship, business ownership, and analytical experience to business brokerage. He has more than 12 years of experience building and operating online businesses, including successfully selling an online business. He later founded More Than Pickleball, a 30,000-square-foot indoor sports and hospitality business in the Atlanta metro area, which he built, franchised, and ultimately sold.
Jay's strength: Having personally built and sold both online and brick-and-mortar businesses, Jay understands the financial, operational, and personal sides of a transaction — and brings that perspective to helping business owners and buyers navigate the process.
